Hello and welcome to my site!  . 

I am myself a Woman Living Abroad.  I have lived in England and am now located in Sweden.  I have no idea if this will be my last stop or how long we will stay here but for now it's home. 

My husband had the chance to work internationally so I gave up my job and left my working life behind to join him to discover the world.  Ever since that time, coping with changes has become a major part of my life.
My career evolved from business unit manager to home manager, which soon proved to be an equally daunting role.  This was especially true after our family expanded while being abroad.  The move itself also caused a whole range of feelings.  I experienced the loneliness, tears and the fear to go and live in a place where nobody knew me but after a while also the joy of finding friendship where I didn't expect it. I came across other Women Living Abroad, who became dear friends to share the worries and happiness in my life.  I discovered different treasures within each country and had a lot of fun hunting for them.  Moving abroad has also given me the chance to set up my own company specializing in web design and personal PC services, which I really enjoy.
